If I was a Vegan or a Celiac I would frequent One Lucky Duck. The desserts just taste "healthy". They are slightly pricey, but it is something you might expect to find where natural, fresh, non-processed ingredients are used. I bought a few pieces to bring back to the office. I do not work with any vegans or celiacs. The biggest hit was the Chocolate Almond Square, it tasted like an Almond Joy.  Their Gingersnap Cookie and the Mallomar were runner ups.  If you are looking for a spot for healthy treats, this is your best option in NYC.

If you think all Italian food is rich and heavy and you never have room for dessert, you might be right. This time you need to make an exception.  There are two incredible choices at Novita's. The first is the Mille Fogile. It's an incredible 20 ultra thin crepes layered between a light creamy custard, served over a fresh strawberry sauce. Shake Shack

The best location is the original in Madison Square Park and it's the first location you should visit.  A little advice, the line can get long so if you just want some custard or a concrete make sure you get in the shorter line... to the left.  You are welcome!  Never had a concrete? It is delicious custard blended with other ingredients. Tasty!

Cafe Green NY

Tucked far far away in a part of town many do not know exists, lives a delightful shop. Inside this delightful shop lives some incredibly good Macaroons. They are so good that they're a stiff competitor for a place on 23rd st.
