Here is a place created by a well known chef, without the $$$ prices and with multiple locations throughout the city. Thanks Mr. Colicchio for bringing us 'wichcraft with your business partners. While we make no claims for their savory items, there is one dessert that is absolutely scrumdiddlyumptious; it's on the internets so it must be a word. 'wichcraft has a Lemon Poppyseed cookie filled with fruit preserves. The cookie sampled on two separate occasions was filled with raspberry and fortunately one party member could not eat raspberry. Just when you thought Midtown had a poor selection of Chocolate. Conveniently located on the south side of Bryant Park, Lily O'Brien's brings you a gift; a gift of chocolate. They have some extraordinary chocolate at La Maison Du Chocolat with three locations in the city. At the Midtown location they have some extremely helpful and friendly employees. If you've never been you may think the chocolate is too rich for my wallet, but really it is not. You can buy chocolate by the piece. If you love creme puffs than you cannot miss the chance to have some of the best. Never a crunchy puff and creme that has the perfect consistency, it will not run out when you bite into the puff. Do you like a fudgy brownies or a cakey brownie? If you like the latter and you are in midtown then you should stop at The Burger Joint in the Le Parker Meridien Hotel.
